Press ReleasesNews Release: July 10, 2002Contact: Chris Brungardt Brungardt, Honomichl, and Company 913-663-1900 ![]() 10 Years of Customer Satisfaction - 10 Years of Success Brungardt Honomichl & Company, P.A., an engineering firm based in Kansas City, has announced the celebration of their 10-year anniversary. BHC was founded by four partners in 1992 to deliver outstanding consulting engineering service and expertise in the areas of telecommunications, public works and site development. This month marks the 10 year milestone for the organization. “Many companies do not make it to the 10-year milestone. We feel we have made it for two key reasons, first and foremost due to the focus we have on our customers and their needs. We do what needs to be done to make our clients succeed,” says Kevin Honomichl, President. BHC’s client roster includes industry giants along with local, regional and start up organizations. Recognized names including AT&T, Qwest, Tyco, WorldCom, Time Warner, Everest, Trigen, KDOT, the City of Overland Park and the City of Spring Hill have found BHC to be a valued business partner over the years. “No matter their size, these clients have the need for expertise and a spirit of partnership. That’s what they have found with BHC,” Honomichl said. “The second reason for success has been our focus on people; both inside our organization and the people within our client companies. We have been fortunate enough to recruit and retain incredible talent. This type of talent drives great results and relationships with our customers. We have tried to run our business in a manner that has allowed for growth of our employees both professionally and personally,” Honomichl said. Testament to BHC’s success has been recognition by Ingram’s, Kansas City’s business magazine as one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in the Kansas City area six of the past 10 years. “We pride ourselves in our growth because it has come from hard work and delivering results to our clients” said Bill Brungardt, Vice President. BHC has grown as an organization by focusing beyond the bottom line. The company has made a commitment to the engineering profession and the community. BHC stepped to the plate and made a significant contribution to Kansas State University to fund construction of Fielder Hall, the new civil engineering facility. BHC has contributed nearly one half of a million dollars during its 10-year history to charitable organizations. “We are proud of our work in the industry and community. Success to us is defined in terms of employee growth and community support, not necessarily financial success. We feel we have made a positive impact in all of these areas,” Brungardt said. "As BHC looks ahead to its next 10 years, we are excited and feel we have established a strong base for growth. We know that to sustain growth we need to regularly assess the needs of our customers and our company and be creative in bringing services and expertise to the market. Our business plan and marketing efforts are exciting and we look forward to moving ahead in the marketplace,” Honomichl said. |
