City Consulting Engineering Firm, named a Terry
Bradshaw "Pick Of The Week" "We were thrilled to be selected and are honored by the recognition. I believe our employees' commitment to helping our customers be successful, the professionalism they display every day, and their loyalty to BHC landed us this opportunity to be recognized among engineering firms across the United States" said Kevin Honomichl P.E., President of BHC. BHC is a consulting engineering firm that focuses on delivering outstanding service and expertise in the areas of public works, site development, telecommunications, and right-of-way services. BHC recently celebrated their 10-year milestone and has been on the fastest growing company list in their market six of the past ten years. The growth, fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit, a commitment to continued learning and outstanding community support, makes BHC a standout. "We started with a slate of approximately 100 companies and then the research department of Dallas-based Broadcast News went to work learning about the various companies and determining which ones met the criteria to be a Pick of the Week," said Dan Usry, executive producer of Broadcast News. "From there we narrowed it down to about 10 companies we were particularly impressed with and conducted interviews. The interview with the principals at BHC and the supporting documentation captured our attention and resulted in our decision to honor BHC as a Pick of the Week." BHC, headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, serves customers of all sizes across the country. The company works for telecom giants like AT&T and Time Warner and with local customers, such as municipal public works departments. The customers of BHC recently completed customer satisfaction surveys and 90% reported that BHC exceeded expectations and that they would again choose BHC as their business partner. "We found BHC's commitment to employees and community quite unique in the business world today. In 2002 alone, they supported over 25 organizations with time and money," said Dan Usry of Broadcast News. BHC encourages employees to become personally involved in philanthropic and professional organizations, according to Honomichl. "In the short run, we know this makes a difference to individuals, and in the long run, it makes a difference to the entire community," Honomichl added. BHC was founded in 1992 to deliver outstanding consulting engineering service and expertise in the areas of civil engineering and telecommunications. This year marks the 11-year anniversary of the company. |
