BHC RHODES' PRESIDENT NAMED TO 2011 LEADERSHIP KANSAS CLASS

Mr. Kevin Honomichl, P.E., L.S. president and co-founder of BHC RHODES civil engineering and surveying firm has been selected as a member of the 2011 Leadership Kansas class. Each year 40 individuals are selected out of several hundred nominated applicants. The 2011 class was chosen by the Leadership Kansas Board of Trustees.

Leadership Kansas is one of the oldest and most prestigious statewide leadership programs in the country and has shaped elite alumni such as U. S. Senators, Representatives and Governors. The purpose is to educate and motivate future leaders from various Kansas communities by exposing them to critical issues facing Kansas business and government.

Throughout the six month program members will receive an up close and personal understanding of challenges and opportunities in the state on topics such as business, education, agriculture, public policy, societal health and development, economics, and government. Members can then effectively help their communities and state leaders improve the economic and social climate of the state. Host cities for this year's program are Topeka, Pittsburg, Garden City, the Kansas City metropolitan area, Colby/Goodland and Hutchinson/Wichita.

BHC RHODES, civil engineering and surveying firm was founded in 1992 and has three office locations in Kansas. Their progressive work environment and "no problem" service led to their recognition as one of the Kansas City area's leading firms. BHC RHODES has been recognized by Ingram's magazine, The Kansas City Business Journal, Commercial Journal magazine, MSNBC and Kansas City's NBC News "Business In Action." BHC RHODES has also been awarded Best Places to Work both locally and nationally. For more information visit their web site at ibhc.com.
