BHC RHODES' PUBLIC WORKS LEADER SELECTED AS ENGINEER OF THE YEAR

BHC RHODES is proud to announce Mr. Steven Bachenberg, P.E., Vice President of Public Works Services has been selected by the Eastern Chapter of Kansas Society of Professional Engineers (KSPE) as engineer of the year.

Since 1970 Bachenberg has been an active member in both the Wichita and Eastern Chapters of KSPE. In 2006 he took on the roll of Legislative Committee Chair and representative to the state Government Affairs Committee for the Eastern Chapter and still fulfills those roles today. "Steve puts in a lot of time for KSPE and always does a great job," said Mr. Steven Hileman, P.E., President of the Eastern Chapter. This spring the Chapter will submit Bachenberg for the state KSPE Engineer of the Year award.

"Steve has dedicated his career to the betterment of our Kansas communities and I'm very grateful for his leadership of our Public Works team and to our professional associations. This is the third leadership recognition this year among our staff and I'm very proud of the dedication to our profession" said Kevin Honomichl, President of BHC RHODES.
