BHC RHODES PROFESSIONAL TRAFFIC OPERATIONS ENGINEER
BHC RHODES hired Lideana Laboy, P.E., PTOE as a senior traffic engineer. Laboy graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez and received her Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas. In addition to her traffic duties, Laboy will enhance the public relations staff as a Spanish interpreter for public meetings that involve Hispanic communities.
Laboy brings twelve years of experience in traffic engineering including transportation planning research and studies, traffic control, signing and pavement markings design, traffic impact studies, safety analysis, traffic signal analysis and design. Her portfolio includes a number of KDOT and MODOT work in the Kansas City Metro. "We're excited to have Lideana on board. Her enthusiasm for customer care supports our company focus on providing no problem service" said BHC RHODES President Kevin Honomichl.
Laboy's immediate project focus at BHC RHODES will be Commanche Street Improvements in Dodge City, KS and Grandview Main Street design in Grandview, MO. Laboy is active in several professional organizations and is the current Vice President of the Kansas City Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (KCITE).
